My childhood friend came by the other day. We talked, walked, ate and shopped (ok, that's just me). We laughed throughout while reminiscing about the old days. Blk 422 was the witness of a beautiful friendship formed.

So we started off with the classic 'japanese talk', with a doughnut and a bottle of mineral water. And those days, when some kids got noisy, we'll scold them, yea, in japanese. Wadahell, i know. The centre aisle used to have different heights of stone stools? ok, maybe chairs and we used to play crocodile or we'd run from one end, hopped on the stone chair, touch the used-to-have-a-letterbox (picture below) and run back. When there's a huge piece of cardboard lying around, we'll use it to slide down the slope. We used to peep on couples making out before or after our religious class. Yes, the irony. And then we'd laugh.

I miss my childhood days. I miss Kartika!
