I came early to start out with. So i wasted my time by reading at the playground nearby.. I reported at 0745. There were kids everywhere. Cant wait for the first batch of kids to enter the small and cold classroom..(its air-conditioned everywhere) Samuel was the first boy to arrive and he was very good. Sat on the floor and waved good bye to his parents. Then the others began to enter. Some of them cried, expected. Once settled down, Samuel began to cry, followed by some others. Its a nightmare i tell u. The crying was very contagious.. I had to bring Samuel and Joel out to ease them. Brought them to the refreshment area and took out a big container of Lego. They were still sobbing and asking for mummy after half an hour. Thank goodness, Joel managed to stop, but not Samuel. Teacher Nora brought him near to his brother's classroom. I continued playing with Joel. So i missed the first day with the rest of CURIOSITY 1. At 1015, the next batch of people arrived. Here the parents made a mistake. They entered the room. So the kids were clinging on them. 3 of them cried but the rest were angels. Mdm ong and I had to grabbed 2 boys away frm their mummy. Calvin hit me and said i was bad. How adorable. hehhe.. He ran to one corner and cried. I went over to him and he screamed. Its very high pitch, like a screeching sound. Such a sore to the ears. The more i tried to talk to him or touch him, the more he'd scream. I cant leave him alone along the corridor right? So i walked around, enter the boys toilet and juz washed ma hands and checked my hair(which i had to squad coz its very low) told him i'd call his mother and sisiter to come and fetched him. Sat beside him. Later he actually talked to me. All the " I want mummy" kinda stuff. No more crying badly and screaming. Then i carried him, i duno why. He hugged me and didnt wanna let go. So tight. And he hid his face and cried on my shoulder. I had to assure him that his mummy will come. "Ok, teacher promise u mummy will come ok. U have to stop crying, or else mummy will not bring u home" He did lah. I went into the classroom but he doesnt wanna let go of me. So i swayed slowly until he fell asleep. I thought im a teacher, not a babysitter? I passed him to mdm Ong and played with the rest. They are so adorable. Really. CURIOSITY 3 is the best. At the end of 2 hours, everyone was ok. We sang goodbye song. Its so cute when they said "goodbye teacher diana. see u tomorrow" Then i told them that i dont want to see anyone crying, especially Calvin. He nodded. I didnt realise its lunch time.. Ate Nasi goreng mama. At 1pm, Learning Advanture 6 entered. This class was not that bad.A girl cried but for awhile. But the classs was so dead and clueless. But its so cute. I like Hanafi. Hes so cute lah. Very. Asraf is the other cute one. Hes so small and expression-less. Hahha.. When we had music and movement, he only stood there, mayb thinking, what are this 2 teachers doing(mind u, we were exaggerating every movement, so u can imagine how ugly it was.. hahha) Nigel was so good and quiet at first. But by the time its refreshment time, my goodness, he showed his true colour. Very naughty. and he likes me i guess. Keep following me. And the worst thing was that, he's speaking to me in chinese. Wadahell! By the time it's 3 pm, i started yawning. Its tiring ok. And after so long of not waking up at 6, it felt horrible. I had 2 hours of free period. Did some stuff. On the first day only, I had to handle a boy who vomitted coz too much crying, a girl who poo-poo and lots of pee-ing. "teacher, wa yao sao pian", "teacher, i want to pee", "teacher, i want to poo-poo", "teacher" and nothing else was said but showed me they wanted to go to the toilet. Ivanna, the girl who poo-pooed, wet her panty. I had to wash it sia. Crap! But its ok.. I cant wait for tomorrow. Hope they wont cry anymore but i doubt so. I just love them can? They are awfully adorable eventhough its horribly tiring taking care and playing with them and trying to make them understand us and trying to understand what they say. Bt i'll be glad to wait for them at the door with a welcoming smile. U should see the look on their faces. They will just stay in ur mind forever. Glad i took up this job.. Curiosity 1 & 3 and Learning advanture, teacher will be waiting for you.. No more crying ok. Good boy/girl. (a pat on their head) |
